LOLAS Acting School

Our Approach

At LOLAS we believe that it is the individual that is the most important facet and as such we take time to learn about the individual actor. Students are brought along at their own pace, receiving individual attention even in the classroom setting. The main goal of our technique is to take the actor with no experience and give them all the tools they need to handle any situation on stage or on a T.V. Or movie set and in the case of the already working actor; Rather than tell the actor to forget everything they know about acting, allow them to keep what they already know about acting and simply enhance it. Most of us come from a society where our feeling and actions are closely watched, inhibited and judged. At LOLAS we aim to help you find and outlet of expression using your true self and what really matters for you and by using that we can teach you to express it in a truthful and almost primordial experience. You will also be given many tools throughout the technique to better improve your acting including emotional preparation and scene and script analysis.

What We Teach

“I teach individuals to become artists. It’s my duty to the actor to see what he or she brings to the table and improve on that. I don’t want you to forget what you’ve learned. I want you to incorporate what we teach to enhance your talents. We shape working actors.” — Brian Lally.

Individual Attention - We Teach Art, Not Science

"Each student will be brought along at his or her own pace. This is not a factory. We make sure the students are given individual attention, even in classroom setting. All students are looked upon as individual artists. At LOLAS, we teach art, not science." — Brian Lally.

A Vast Experience

Brian's experience as a working actor with more than 150 TV, movie and theater credits ensures that he is passing on what works today in this ever-changing world of acting.
